About Leon Pryce

I have been writing for the past ten years. My success lies with publications such as The Gleaner and Observer which are the two main national newspapers in Jamaica. And most recently the Western Mirror which is the leading newspaper in Western Jamaica.
I am very innovative when it comes to writing. I always work with my own ideas and projects which makes me highly favorable with editors. I have written on various topics and always have an interest to venture into different fields which I have never been before because it helps me to learn from challenges I may encounter.Writing was introduced to me by an English teacher who thought I was capable to take my essay skills outside the classroom. He helped me earned my first publication which gave me the confidence that has been carrying me through my writing journey today.
It is my greatest desire to make writing my full time career and dedicate all I am to what I have grown to love and the one thing that changed my life for good. I have always enjoyed a good readership by all who got a chance to read my work and continue to use my writing as a message to the reader.
I write on issues that affect people, community, and affect the lives of those who are less fortunate such as children, unemployed, homeless, elderly, and those whose lives have been changed by circumstances.
I have been most faithful in trying my best to groom my writing skills so that I can be more appealing and marketable in the writing world. I am hopeful that my writing success is waiting for me and that I will be a recognized among the greatest.
I thank all those who have supported me throughout my writing life: the editors, readers, critics, family and friends who have encouraged me not to give up.
